COVID-19 Health Measures

Bald Mountain Health Measures in the time of COVID-19

Elohee is a place of gathering, community, connection, and healing cradled in the arms of mother earth.  We are blessed to have outdoor spaces, hiking trails, and spots for quiet reflection for all to explore and connect with nature.

We will do our best to continue to offer an environment that fosters a feeling of safety that our guests have come to know.  As we prepare for reopening, we want to share with you the guidelines we are following to help ensure the safety and comfort level of our guests and staff.

Elohee Mask Requirements – Elohee will require guests to wear masks in spaces where they are in interaction with Elohee staff. This includes while being shuttled, browsing in the Gift Shoppe, and when walking around the Dining Room, and in the buffet line.

Arrival Procedures

We will take the temperature of each guest upon arrival.  If their temperature is above 100.4F the guest will not be allowed to participate in the retreat, nor will anyone in the car traveling with them.  They will receive a credit voucher to attend another retreat at Elohee.

Staff will shuttle guests from their cars in the parking lot to their rooms.  Staff will be wearing masks, and hand sanitizer will be provided for guest use.  Elohee is requiring guests to wear masks also during shuttling.

Our head kitchen staff are ServSafe certified, as required by law. All kitchen staff will follow standard ServSafe protocols for proper food preparation, storage, and service.  Each staff member will have their temperature taken before each shift.  If they are ill, they will not be allowed to work.  Staff will be wearing masks and gloves. Elohee will also require guests to wear masks while walking around in the Dining Hall and in the buffet line. Tables and dining room surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected after each meal service.

Guest Lodging

Elohee has implemented an additional pricing tier for guest lodging.  This is a mid-range option for guests who do not want to share a bathroom, but do not want to incur the expense of a large private room with a private bathroom en suite.  The options are as follows:

  • Private Room/Private Bathroom en suite (Single Occupancy- 1 king or 2 twin beds)
  • Private Room/Private Bathroom en suite (Double Occupancy- 1 king or 2 twin beds)
  • Small Private Room (1 twin bed)/private bathroom directly outside room). There is a fee of $45 additional per night.
  • Small Private Room(1 twin bed)/Shared Bathroom

Our rooms are cleaned by Amy’s Green Cleaning and they have taken additional measures to create a clean and healthy environment for our guests.

 Meeting Rooms & Common Spaces

We will have hand sanitizer in each meeting space.  Doorknobs and surfaces will be wiped down daily with disinfectant.  While Elohee provides several props for yoga and meditation, it will be up to the facilitator and guests to decide if they feel comfortable using them.  We will provide disinfectant spray and paper towels for participants to clean yoga mats and yoga blocks, Other props (blankets, bolsters, cushions and chairs) will not be cleaned in between uses.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own props if appropriate.  Elohee will require guests to wear masks in any common spaces in which they interact with guests.

Spa & Gift Shoppe

Massage and Reiki Services

Service offerings will depend on therapist availability and guest comfort level.  Elohee requires masks to be worn while browsing in the Gift Shoppe. Massage and Reiki practitioners require masks to be worn while being face-up.
