Registration & Cancellation Policy

Registration & Cancellation Policy

Deposit: A 40% deposit is due at registration. Each registration deposit includes a non-refundable $100 processing fee.

Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the retreat. If your payment is not made in full 2 weeks prior, Elohee will charge your card on file for the remaining amount owed.

Refunds are available (minus the $100 processing fee) up to 6 weeks prior to the start of the retreat. If you cancel between 6 weeks and 2 weeks prior to the retreat, Elohee will retain the entire 40% deposit.

Elohee does not provide refunds or transfers if you cancel after 2 weeks prior to your retreat date. This policy extends to all reasons for cancellation, including COVID-19. If you are concerned about the financial risk, we recommend you purchase cancellation/trip insurance.

*Please note – transferring your registration to another retreat date is still considered and treated as a cancellation.

In the event that any damage to the property, facilities, or facility contents occurs as a result of the participant’s willful actions, neglect, or recklessness, participant will be held liable for any and all costs associated with any actions of neglect or recklessness. In this instance, an itemized list of damages and repair costs will be assessed and your credit card charged.

Why we have a cancellation policy:
Here at Elohee, a nonprofit retreat center, we are committed to providing a high-quality retreat experience led by experienced retreat facilitators. We are committed to delivering exceptionally maintained grounds, beautiful eco-friendly facilities, and affordable retreat experiences for all. This requires extensive effort and preparation from our dedicated staff, starting from the moment we receive your registration. To ensure we can consistently deliver this experience, we require a deposit and adhere to a cancellation policy designed to support our operational expenses, including but not limited to administrative work, staff payroll, and grounds preparation. Adhering to our cancellation policy is crucial in maintaining the expectations, equitability, and accessibility we promise to all attendees and facilitators. While we strive to be equitable, compassionate, and considerate, we must also uphold the integrity of Elohee and our financial responsibilities to our employees and the organization.
