Reclaiming Our Truth

A retreat for women of color designed to inspire reconnection with one’s authentic self and to ignite one’s passion for life.

Reclaiming Our Truth is a weekend retreat of curated experiences designed to assist women of color reconnect with our inner truths and be liberated from the strongholds that keep us trapped in cycles of trauma. Be it the trauma of overwork, disconnection, overcommitment, obligation or overwhelming stress; this retreat seeks to give us the tools to reset.

The intention of the retreat is to remind each of us that our burnout is not only our own but also the result of years of unrealistic expectations and a history of carrying burdens that do not belong to us. Together, we will explore the history and impact of these expectations. We will release those burdens, uncover our specific blocks to liberation, and explore a different path; the path to our truth. Our truth, while unique to each of us, is rooted in our identity and is filled with a right to seek rest, connection, and peace.

In Reclaiming Our Truth, we come together to reconnect, to create a blueprint for a life that supports our most authentic self and to ignite our passion for life. During the retreat women will have the opportunity to engage mind, body, and spirit through guided discussion, journaling, movement, energetic healings, and meditation.
