What to Expect: To help deepen your retreat experience, Elohee does not provide televisions or internet access (unless you bring your own hotspot). Cell phone service is excellent for AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. Your car will be left in a secured parking lot, and you will be shuttled up to your room upon arrival and shuttled back down to your car at departure. Shuttle service to your car is available at any time. All facilities at the top of the mountain are within a 5 minute walk of each other, with some gravel roads. 2 cottage rooms are ADA compliant, and all cottage rooms are on ground level.

Join Amanda McCall, LPC for this relaxing and transformative retreat that is currently held only once a year.

From the beginner to those experienced in mindfulness, all will walk away rejuvenated and imbued with the powerful knowledge of how to use mindfulness and related skills to be more calm, focused, and joyful at work and at play. If you have felt the effects of stress and/or anxiety in your life lately, this will be a wonderful opportunity to learn how to feel better and boost your resiliency going forward! Even if you aren’t necessarily stressed but simply want to learn how to use mindfulness to be at your best, this retreat will be ideal for you as well!

***Every activity is completely optional. All participants should feel free to make their retreat experience what they would like***

Included in the retreat:

  • Multiple learning sessions each day with Amanda, including guided relaxation/ visualization exercises.
  • Optional yoga classes on Friday and Sunday.
  • Healthy, chef-prepared meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Enriching group discussions on how to apply mindfulness and related skills in real life.

Amanda is a licensed therapist and owner of a private practice in Athens, GA where she specializes in stress, anxiety, motivation, focus and relationships. She has been teaching mindfulness techniques for over 15 years and enjoys incorporating these skills with clients, helping them to be more present, aware, and relaxed in their daily lives.
